First day of school isnt as bad as I thought it will be. Mr kwek is damn humorous! He said: 'Boys, if you like a girl, tell her. Don't write on the tables'. LOL, he said that cos some nyjc-ians vandalised the tables.

And there is a new school bell! It sounds like some ring when they want to make a announcement in a shopping centre.

After CT period and break, I went to bishan MRT to distribute flyers. Some of the O level graduates damn snobbish -.-

Congrats to my juniors who have done well! For those who didnt, don't be too sad k! It doesn't matter which JC you choose. It's all up to you, you have to study hard and study smart. So study hard in JC! :)

I got lots of homework that is supposed to be handed up tomorrow. How am I supposed to finish all of them?!

JC life is really hectic! I fell sick on 22 dec, and I am STILL sick. And, I also spent my christmas and last day of 2010 doing the written report and video.

Lots of things for me to do but time is running out. I want to recover asap! 15 days is enough, really. Why am I the only one going through all this? :(

I must complete the econs project, 8 geo essays, maths paper and tutorials, tuition homework, GP papers and do all the chem papers, tutorials and revision. I only have 5 days! OMG..

And, O level results will be released on 10 jan! I really hope that my juniors will get awesome results cos I know that they put in the hard work. Come to NYJC k!

I realise that my holidays are really well spent! I went to 1036 chalet, did a lot of service learning and trained quite hard for squash! I think I really need to train harder.

2010 reflections and 2011 resolutions

I have learnt a lot in 2010, and I think reflecting is really good. It will help you adapt to changes. Have been reading up on science,maths and psychology, and I really enjoy what I am learning!

Major events: Orientation,DISC,1036,squash,interact club,friends,food,good news cafe, fishermen's cove,pw,facebook,twitter,formspring,ISLE batam,music,monopoly board game and monopoly deal, harry potter and twilight,grenade,airplanes,blade,sky,stars,firework,dark,light

Learn to close your eyes and imagine what the world feels like. Imagine the feeling of touching the grass on the floor and the flowing water. Reflect, but stop reflecting when you feel tired.

The feeling that I am experiencing now, is like...I am back from outer space. Outer space includes the Disneyland, dreamworld, magic world, the world in which miracles happen. It is also the scientific world, where everything is explained by concepts, psychology concepts, to be exact.

I will stop reflecting by 12 midnight, and I am gonna watch the KBS music festival. I think SNSD,shinee,super junior,kim hyun joong, jung so min,2NE1,miss A,tara,f(x) are really idols. They have the X factor, they can sing and dance using their hearts.

Note to self: Learn to sing and dance. Appreciate the music and let your body move freely. Know the difference between black and white, the difference between day and night.

Movies i like: Twilight series(edward and bella), harry potter series(harry potter and hermione), fairytales(minnie mouse), cartoons(doraemon!)

They are all opposites that attract. And i planned out my schedule for next week! Buy a schedule book, and plan, Keep your life organized and neat. Go to places you want to go, buy and eat things you want. Listen and play, explore your curious self. Be more sensitive to changes in moods etc

I love my family and friends, because we can communicate without talking. We understand what each other ones.

I explored the world of animals and kids. I like bubbles, balloons and emotions. I like learning now. I am trying to improve on my chemistry and mathematics.

I can see stars and fireworks at night. I can feel the warm breeze in the day. I can hear the birds chirping and I can hear music!

I love songs by bruno mars,sam tsui, christina,lady gaga,justin bieber,katy perry,farenheit,SHE,hebe,ding dang,liu li yang etc...

I like pink things. Strawberry,phone,sweets,minnie mouse,flowers. I like blue. It is associated with water and peace. I like green. I will think of trees and grasses and the jungle. Colours are fascinating. Rainbow means a perfect combination of colours.

The brain works by remembering links to concepts, photos, videos, pictures, music, body movement, neurons, transmitters.

I think i am done reflecting about 2010. My goal for next year is to get good A level results, make more friends, talk about religion freely, talk about social networking sites, talk about nature and food :)

I will behave the way my heart is telling me to. People's opinions about me is no longer that important. To stay healthy, your mind have to stay strong! :)

Note to self: study,squash,interact,friends,family,nature,touch,see,listen,hear,feel. Be thankful and love your friends :)

Part 2- letter to my friends.

I realised the importance of friends. Everyone need friends. You need a person to accompany you when you feel alone, sad or happy. This is because you want to share everything with them. I realised that I have made a lot of friends this year, and I know the existence of many people. I stalk people on facebook, not because I am a stalker with no life. I stalk people because I am interested in their lives and I want to know what is on their mind.

I can sort of like read minds now. I will sense it when you are feeling depressed, helpless or stressed up. These are all emotions that human beings possess. Everyone will feel something for a period of time. And, I feel a need to connect with the person and help them when they are in need.

This post is dedicated to my friends in 1036, squash, interact club and new friends that I have made. We met because of the 3 days 2 nights batam service learning trip. I think everyone discovered a new side of themselves there. I am inferring from what you guys have said during the reflection.

I realised that some people are more mature than many others. This is because they learn quickly. They are adaptable to changes. Remembering, the time keeps moving and won't stop. And change is the only constant. We must all adapt so that we can feel happy in the world that we are living in.

There are actually a lot of worlds on earth. There is a place where you can connect with Mother nature. There is also a place that you are familiar with. It is the place where you take a transport to somewhere you want to go. Also, there is the online world, the virtual world. It is very different from real life, as you do not know who is observing your every single move. Stalking people is made possible by the social networking sites like blogger,formspring,twitter and last but not least facebook.
If you do not want to reveal your private life to people, I suggest that you abstain from the online world. Put in 100% of your heart and soul in what you are doing in real life. You will find a lot of things familiar and easy. When I am concentrating, I feel that communicating with my friends or the children is really easy. This is because my brain is working, and I have learnt how to express myself using words. When I was young, I expressed myself mainly through actions. Now, I have learnt to express myself through words,actions and eye contact.

I am really grateful that I chose to enter a JC. I learnt a lot about life in JC. Through project work, i realised the importance of meeting deadline and being punctual. It is also important to discuss and listen to your group members. In this way, things can be done more efficiently. And, for every project, there MUST be a leader. The leader must take charge. Everyone who are in doubt will consult the leader. There should be a leader and follower in this case.

I was also exposed to English. And now it is called general paper. It is about common sense and general knowledge. To do well in it, you must be interested in world affairs. Common topics include education, poverty, religion, science and technology, fame, life, friendships, relationships. You have to have an opinion on every topic, and u have to express your opinions by writing an essay out. It will then be graded by the teachers. You will know how well you have performed and how much u need to improve to be perfect through your GP results. Practice makes perfect. Perfect does not mean flawless. Perfect means you are satisfied with your work because you gave it your best shot! :)

You will feel high and happy when you see that your get the results because u have worked hard for it. However, if the output is < than the effort that you have put in, you will start to complain about how unfair life is. Humans are just this weird.

I have a lot to say to some of my friends. I will first start with those in CT 1036(My class)

Asaph: Stay happy. Share your problems with your close friends so that they can make you feel happy. I hope that you can find true friends in choir and also in your new class. I think you are really talented and is very developed in singing and sports. Continue to learn and improve! :)

Chek wei: Hi pw,econs and gossiping mate! I think you should really give yourself some time to rest. You have too many commitments now. Learn to let go so that you will feel better. Also,I realised that you are always staying up late to complete your work. You should really try to change this bad habit of yours. Maybe you can prioritise your work to be done and do it until 11pm. If there is still a lot left, just go and sleep and continue with the rest of your work tomorrow. :) Thanks for lending me a listening ear when i needed it! I really appreciate it! :)

Jaslin: Hi, I think you are one of my best friends. Actually, I think that you enjoy being alone. But u keep thinking that you are lonely because there is no friends accompanying you. This is not true at all. We are all here and you can ask us out when you want to meet us. You can call us when you need to hear our voice. You can meet us after school so that u can share your emotions with us. This is what friends are for. Don't think too much when you are alone. Try to understand your mum. I think she is really very concerned and worried about you.

Huiru: Hi, you are awesome too! You are a great friend i dont wanna lose in 2011! I think the biggest problem that u have is that you dun like to talk. You like to bottle all your emotions inside youself. You only let your emotions out in the form of tears because you cannot take it anymore. I hope you can change this. Start by telling me how you are feeling, and when you think you are comfortable with the changes, you can just let your emotions free. Cry when you want to. Smile when you want to. Trust me, you will feel happier this way. And, teach me maths ok! I am really weak in maths...and I will try to teach you econs/gp if u need my help :)

Rujun: Hi! I hope i didn't scare you. I think I was just reflecting and i was trying to familiarise myself with the new me. I think you are a great listener but you should speak up more. Thanks for being there when i broke down. You have been by my side twice. I will really appreciate it! :)

Melissa: Hello cui kia! haha, I am just joking. I think you have excellent self control, keep it up! Teach me h1 Chem ok! I know nuts about chemistry. Thanks for being there on Monday! Thanks for listening to me...

Jun hoe: Hello! Thanks for giving me advices! I think that your English is really very zai! I am trying to learn from you! I want to improve my English too! I think you are really creative and helpful at times, but i think you should not be too absorbed with your own thoughts at times...

Qianyi: Hi, I hope i didnt freak you out. I think you find my brain interesting right? I find yours interesting too. Maybe next time we can share with each other how our brain functions. Thanks for introducing me to the tutor! Thanks for introducing the pretty stationery and items under your bed! I like your big house and your 2 big dogs! :)

Metamorphosis and Memories
(Letter to myself and my family)

This are really things I want to say. So bro,dad and mum please read this :)

I spent one whole week reflecting. And, I really think that i became a stronger person. The change in me is inspired by ISLE batam. It is my second overseas trip. The first was a combined uniform group trip to Malaysia. I went there and took the flying fox and experienced the feeling of climbing trees. After the trip, i become more brave.

I was reflecting from 22 December to 29 December. And coincidentally, it's my birthday today! I came to earth 17 years ago. While reflecting, I found the answers to the questions I always had. I finally found the answer. It feels like, getting to know yourself. I immersed myself into the surrounding, and I discovered that feeling of cool wind on your face is really comforting. It's as though I found a new me. Everything is exciting, and I am interested in everything. This was what I was like when I was young. Part of me is like a kid, thirsty for knowledge and I found the inquisitive self. I remembered that i enjoy music and dancing, but I am not good at it. Now, I am trying to be good in dancing. I want to familiarise myself with the feeling of relaxing and letting your body move.

I realised that I have changed a lot. And, the change is a good one. I became more mature, and I understood about life. I have learnt many important lessons. And, I know that it will benefit me in the future. I also find it easier to express myself through words. I only realised it lately. And I am thankful for the fact that I choose to go to batam. A big thank you to jaslin,sinhong,janael and zhisheng for organising this trip.

Ok, so, during the batam trip, I experienced new things. Also, i experienced a new world that i didn't know of in the past. I think it is because I was comparing the different groups of kids that i saw throughout the whole December holidays. First, i interacted with kids with complicated family background via the bridging programme. The programme is a programme to let the kids know what routine is, and it also teaches them what primary 1 school life is about.

In batam, I saw poor kids who might be mentally unstable. I think I was touched by what i have seen and heard from my friends. The kids there are really pure and innocent. They are really thankful and will repay you, through their own sweet gestures. And, you will feel really touched and feel like crying. This is because, you have never ever experienced such pure people.

On 27 dec, I interacted with the kids for the third time. I felt like I could communicate with them, be it through interpreting actions or words. The kids there just want somebody to be there with them and explain things to them. They are very curious about the world. And, they are still on the process of exploring. I was very patient on that day, and I explained everything that the kids asked me. Suddenly, I remembered that I was like them in the past. I was curious and I always ask my parents for answers to the questions that I have in my mind. I found the me during the childhood days.

I found the me who is 12 years old. I was very talkative back then. And I love English and Chinese. I like to learn, and i was in an EM1 class. I was sitting with the smartest guy in the school, and I think I learnt a lot, just by looking. Sometimes, emotions and feelings are more important than words.

I also found the depressed me. I was depressed in secondary three as I had to take over my CCA and I just wasn't ready yet. My brain is not as fast as the others, and the fact that I need to embrace change didn't register in my brain. Or maybe, I am always ignoring this fact in my sub conscious mind. This is why I didn't grow. I had problems interacting with my friends, and I felt that everything was wrong. I almost committed suicide. But, my family took me through this path by accompanying me. They were there when i feel lonely and sad. I am really very thankful for them.

Dad, thanks for giving me all the advices. You are my role model. You are an awesome father! Sorry for not respecting you at times, cos your brain is slower than mine. You need more time to learn how to use the Internet. And, I didn't have the patience to teach you everything from the basic. But now, I have learnt to be patient. Because I remembered that you teach me how to walk and talk when I was young. It is my turn to teach you all about technology now. The world now has evolved. It is no longer the same as the world 10 years ago.

Mum, thanks for taking care of the household chores in the house. I know that sometimes, you are forcing yourself to do the housework, because it is your responsibility. Sorry for not expressing my love and concern for you, because I didn't understand the importance of expressing myself back then. And thanks for giving birth to me. It gave me the chance to enjoy this beautiful and amazing world.

Bro, thanks for everything. I know you don't really like to talk, but I know that you are a good listener. I think you feel frustrated at home, because you cannot empathise with mum and dad. Or, simply, you may be just stressed up, because of your work. I just wanna tell you that you can tell me things u want to say. Don't bottle everything up. I will listen and give you advice if I can. This is because I have learnt the importance of listening. Everyone can be a good speaker, but it takes time for one to become a good listener. You are like my friend, just a older guy friend. Thanks for the iPhone, i will really treasure it and not misplace it. I won't be careless anymore. I promise that I will change this careless side of me.

I am still sick! And I have already been sick for 4 days! :(

It started with vomiting, then sore throat, fever, flu and cough :(

I only slept for 3 hours last night and this resulted in a throbbing headache. I am still stubbornly sitting in front of the computer for hours. I dunno why too. maybe i am addicted to the net. (shit, i need to get rid of this addiction by 31 dec)

Will blog about ISLE batam and tml's interact event and red cross outing soon! And, jaslin and melissa came to my house today! I hope i don't spread my virus to them. Don't fall sick k.

was in batam from 20 dec to 22 dec. photos are up on fb, i am lazy to upload it here.

did manual work for 2 days. i painted the walls, tables and try sawing the wood. also scrubbed the floor to get rid of the paint. i swear that manual work is freaking tiring.

i guess i really learnt a lot from this. i will try to not take things for granted and not waste food.

was sick on third day of batam cos of the smell of seafood there. vomited and i still have to go to the miniature park and megamall. really no mood to sight see or shop cos i kept feeling nauseous

i really cant stand the smell of the fishes and the taste of the sour coconut at golden prawn restaurant.

in all, the batam trip was memorable, i hope that there will be one more after our As next year! and i made new friends also truth or dare was really very entertaining. but i was super suay cos i got truth twice, but at least it's not dare haha

have been sick since wed but still went to work at st nicks (secondary section) ytd and today. earned some $ but i dont have a chance to spend it. i am stuck at home

will only update when i have something to blog about. this post seems v.random cos my brain is shutting down.

was involved in the bridging programme from 6-17 dec at yishun primary school! the things that we do are teaching the 6 years old alphabets, numbers, making sentences, singing and dancing! i admit that it gets boring after a while cos it is repetitive! u are doing the same things for 10 days! but the kids are really cute! i sort of miss them now.

i finished my GP homework! not gonna do the ones in gmail. half done with the geo essays. i completed 4 out of 8! gonna leave maths and chem to the last.

i think there's still a long way to go for the econs project. :(

went for squash outing ytd! took a very long time to travel there. have to take the mrt, bus and walk a very long way! rented a bicycle for 2 hours and cycled in the rain! my face,hands,legs and clothes are all wet! :(

think my immune system is very strong! didnt fall sick although i were in the rain for hours and i didnt change out of my wet clothes! also glad that i didnt fall down even though i didnt ride a bicycle for years? ate a lot during dinner! druck rice,chicken wing,satay and sugarcane juice. went off early cos i had something on at night.

went to school for batam meeting. were making the flashcards from 10 plus to 2pm! we finally finished the numbers,fruits. now left with alphabets. think we were halfway thru. after that went to eat pizza hut at NEX. the shopping centre is freaking huge! and there's a sly garden at the top and i think the library is situated in the sky garden? weird uh....

drank 3 cups of pepsi, drank mushroom soup, ate some fried chicken and personal pan pizza. freaking full now..how to eat dinner? :(

class chalet! it was right after OP! spent 2 days 2 nights at coasta sands resort! went home with jaslin and chekwei on the 3rd day. reached home and slept for dunno how many hours cos didnt really sleep for 2 nights.

played cards in the noon and slack around and went for dinner.

just acia! ate the cheesy dory fish and i was damn full! and i suck at scooping ice cream

went to the arcade later and took pictures in the neoprint machine!

also went to take the x-rider. it was a 4d ride, mimicking that of a roller coaster. it's quite shaky and not v.comfortable.

played cards and chatted for the whole night. think we taupok one another also. i am always at the top! haha think it's fun only when u r at the top. and i learnt a lot of new games! won some $ too! beginners luck i guess.

first visit to wild wild wet! the rides there were fun but it became boring. u cant stay there for the entire day. tried all the rides there! and u still can go there and play even if u dunno how to swim.

dinner on second day at popeyes! the portion there is huge!

my life sort of changed after that. i will lead a brand new life in J2! and yes, i promoted! was quite lucky. and i realised that there is no use hanging on to things or people anymore. life's short, so why bother so much? there is really no point treasuring people who disregard u. perhaps, u r just making use of me. i will not be so stupid anymore.

and i no longer have to force myself to do things that i dislike!

went for ogl interview yesterday and it wasnt v.good. i cant think of any jokes or things to do to entertain the councillors...my mind just went blank when i was asked to treat them as ogm and entertain them. nvm, i will just hope for the best. hope that i can get in!

had been rather busy since after promos. busy chiong-ing pw, so glad that's OP's over! hope my whole hroup can get an A! we met up for 1 week almost everyday! and i hate memorizing the script.

webcam-ed with huiru and rujun to practise for OP. webcam's fun! and beware of unglam shots when u are webcam-ing! i have loads of them on fb! :(

trained quite hard for squash too! went to play almost everyday but i think i dint get into the sch team. underperformed during selections. maybe it's becausei use a different racket and i am not used to it. or perhaps i am just not as good as the others. nvm! at least i will have more time for my studies!girls and guys squash team! some of them are not in the picture.

also met up with wan ting! we went to shop at vivo city,far east and bugis! went to ngee ann poly and most of the ppl there wear nice clothes! i am lucky that i didnt choose poly, if not i will be late everyday cos i have to decide on the clothes to wear. and why are all the poly and universities so far away from the central area?

updated each other on our lives. and there's bound to be friendship problems, be it in JC or poly. hate those ppl who gossips behind your back and those who are very fake.

ate at ramen play at 313? the food there is awesome! love their ramen and their BIG cup of lemon tea. but the waiting time is rather long..

PROMOS IS FINALLY OVER!

here comes freedom! BUT, the extra PW is a great turn off. went to vivo city to shop and ikea to eat meatballs! meatballs half price today!

bought a dress at cotton on and sweets from candy empire. got to save $40 to buy a pair of heels from charles and keith.

and the vans shoes that i bought recently is making my feet ache. got blisters also :(

watching playful kiss right now. it's super nice! how i wish i have baek seung jo's brain. his IQ is 200! he can study, play tennis and is so handsome! really a perfect guy.

now i have to plan my post promos schedule. dunno what to do. and hopefully i can promote! geo and chem is a goner. hope i will pass the rest. please let me promote!

YOG. i went to watch 2 games live! Swimming and Handball. the swimmers body damn hot i swear. And there's this france handballer. very cute! think he's called benjamin or something. also watched table tennis, soccer, weight lifting and badminton on tv!

teacher's day celebration in nyjc. the performances were entertaining! esp the teachers dancing bad romance by lady gaga. and the dance put up by the dance society is quite nice also!

Got back all of the papers except geography! All scored a U grade, except GP but it's an S. So, in short, i failed all my subjects! Think Mr Ng will want to meet my parents.

The results were kind of expected cos i only studied chem and maths in the morning before the paper, econs not at all. And, the econs class is spilt into 2. I am still in Miss Toh's class...

Most people have started to work hard but I am still slacking. I cant find the motivation to study. Everything seems so difficult. Totally lost in the current syllabus too!

Been eating too much lately too. Height and weight next week. Think i gained weight!

Went to Viva La Music yesterday and most of the bands or performances were not very nice. Can only name some who were not bad. And, i cant believe that the cheerleading team got in -.-

went to sentosa today! we dont have lessons today cos of world cup! i dont watch world cup but it's a day off for us!

shop around at vivo and went to sentosa. walked outside universal world studios, visited the merlion and went to the beach! ate a lot of tidbits also!

first day of school after June holidays and exams!

4 hours of lectures and there's very long breaks. hate the PW week. everyday 5pm end :(

was looking at the clock during maths lecture. super boring cos i didn't bring my lecture notes and i couldn't concentrate. i swear i checked the time for more than 10 times in an hour.

slept during PW. seriously, it's a waste of time. WR due on friday and EOM on monday.

and school is starting at 12 next monday! think it's because of world cup. cool right?

next 2 weeks of the holidays spent studying. didnt go out at all. except for meals. but, i studied for like 10% of the time? the rest of the time was spent stoning,eating, sleeping, watching tv and com. so it isnt that productive.

super stressed up for the past few days cos of MYE. left all the revision to the last minute. and i dont even want to try to memorise everything. esp for econs. i only submitted 2 pieces of paper for case study and 3 essays.

what i didnt study for geo came out for essay question. hope i dont fail too badly. geo used to be my best subject in secondary sch!

chem was difficult! almost didnt have time to finish. tikam for mcq. paper 2 was screwed. maths is also screwed. dunno how to do 20-30 marks out of 66. how to pass?

but, i am super lucky cos my MYE ended! the others still have to take their physics, chemistry and chinese. haha!

went to 313 to shop right after MYE! shiok ttm. but, PW WR's second draft due on tues. why must they torture us after MYE?!

went out with qian ru yesterday. actually we were supposed to go to NP to meet wan ting but it was cancelled at the end. and i waited for her for almost 1 hour! i tot she was at bishan interchange taken bus 52 but she's at serangoon interchange waiting for bus 82 -.-

shopped at j8 and ate pizza hut. their service is very slow and some waiters will pretend not to see you. we were raising our hands cos we wanted to place orders or ask for drinks but the waiting time is very long. and that meal was expensive! the sistic counter is also v.inefficient. waited for almost 1 hour also.

after eating, we went to walk around j8 and there's a very pretty pink phone at the sony ericsson shop! wan ting, u got taste! the phone is really very pretty! and is macbook pro really very good?

went to macdonalds and my forehead was very hot. and i really got a fever! think it's because i walked in the rain. it's not v.heavy la. only a drizzle. reached home at 9 plus and measured my temperature. 38.4. ate panadol and went to sleep and my temperature increase to 39.0 at 7am. ate panadol again and i am ok now! :)

my immune system is really cui. i think i fell sick for 5 times in a month alone. :(

but thinking on the bright side, i can lose weight! think i lost 3 kg liao. but not sure if my weighing machine is accurate.

walked for quite a long distance and there is no breeze at all! keep sweating and i think that explains the oily-ness on my face :(

my body clock is screwed! slept at 430am and woke up at 9. what is happening? first immune system and now body clock.

and i used the com for 6 hours non stop! used it to facebook,twitter,youtube,view pictures,PW etc. PW can really try people crazy, or rather it's singapore's education system driving people crazy

went to NYJC band concert during the intermission. were sitting at the back and i cant really recognise the people on stage. alice on the wonderland (?) is very funny! esp the gay alice, rabbit, caterpillar, snail and butterfly! and the props were a little bit budget..xD

they dance and turned their instrument while playing! that's very cool! the conductor is also very funny! and he's the conductor of AMKSS band also! saw many familar faces :)

Had GP mid years yesterday and i think it's very difficult! the compre is talking abt progress but i dun really understand it. i wrote the essay on the sole purpose of education is to get good jobs. to what extent do u think it is true in your society?' didnt really prepare for it but i hope my asnwer is answering the question! compre shld be a gone case. and i spent a lot of time on summary! the MPR is quite cold and i am sitting the last row. sorry to those sitting around me cos i keep coughing. :(

brought laptop to school and cam-whored with tracy :)

econs was ok. was sleeping and suffering during tutorial. stomach super pain. and i was fighting the drowsiness caused by the medicine.

maths lecture was super funny. the lecturer cracked a lot of jokes. got amen one and he played a video that shows people fainting. last time show fall down from slides. a bit -.-

pw became a talking session and my laptop died one me cos i didnt charge it the night before.

and GP's paper tml! first major GP exam in my life. and i am not even worried. have been using the com from 5pm till now. i am super active on facebook. and education or mass media might come out. hope it's reliable :)

blogging on a daily basis now. why am i so free when GP exam is on thurs?! think i am choosing to slack instead. had 2 retests today and my hands super painful. try chionging geo and econs essay in 2 hours.

maths retest at 730 tml. have been going to school at 730. and i hope this is the last time that i am falling sick this year. i dun wan to accumulate my tests and do it all at one shot. will really go crazy

surprisingly, econs today was fun! got to cam whore during lecture. but there's 10 chapters to study for econs :(

and ng keep picking on me during geo just because i was talking. but i can still answer his questions. what's wrong with him?! shall not sit at the last row anymore

Went for Red Cross's passing out parade ytd. It has been one year since we stepped down! Time really flies. I really hope Red Cross will continue staying strong and of course maintaining the GOLD for EUA and CSA. But, remember the most important thing is not the achievements but the strong bonds and friendships forged between you guys. Even if u all did not win anything, dun be upset cos all of u had gone through the process of trying and giving your best.

Sec 3s, dont be too upset about the strength. I know there is only 4 of u all but it is still possible to do things although it is a little bit difficult due to the lack of manpower. And, give appropriate punishments! Must think of the welfare of the cadets ok? I know i shouldn't say so much since i am only a senior. So i shall stop here. i should really know how to fang shou. what is meant to be is meant to be.

And, i cried during the farewell party for the sec 4s. I didn't even cry during the farewell party last year. really gone through a lot in red cross and i remembered all the significant moments after watching the video and how each and every of us has changed for the better. Everyone of us has evolved from a shy cadet to one who is confident and capable of leading. I miss the UG spirit and of course the bond!

Senior really make us sound very old. :(

Didn't go to school today. Went to the polyclinic to see doctor and have a xray. Luckily, there isn't anything wrong with my stomach but it's still painful! 5 days already! Doctor said that i have a sensitive stomach. I am not going to skip meals from now. How to make myself less stressed up? Got 3 more make up tests to do and i am still not fully prepared. And there's GP exam on thurs! *faints*

Shall stop procrastinating and force myself to study NOW.

finally here with a proper blog post! nothing much has been happening and i keep falling sick! 30 april fever and sore throat. 10 may cough. 20 may till now stomach pain. what's wrong with my immune system? and the sad thing is being sick doesnt help me to lose weight :(

met chevon and simin at J8 to buy a AA balloon for tracy. Went to get subway cookies for dinner and boarded the mrt to raffles place. The choir concert was at the Victoria Concert Hall.

All the songs were nice and the beauty and the beast part is quite funny! Esp the bouncing of the utensils. and some choir ppl are dressed up as forks,spoons,plates,cups and many more.

went to the Fullerton hotel after the concert. it's super grand inside! the ambience was super god!

us in the lift. there were many lifts and the lift will come once we press the button. and there's a large mirror in the lift. good for cam-whoring. haha

went to chevon's house on mon to bake. ate a lot of marshmallows and chocolate while baking. haha. the baking ingredients are expensive! and baking really takes up a lot of time. plus there are many steps to carry out..

training on mon and wed. need to train super hard for squash. 1 more month! i dun wanna go and find another CCA after spending $100 on the racket and shoes. why dont i have the talent to whack balls? my coordination sucks also..=(

was sick while writing the GP essay. and i think my essay doesnt make sense! hope i dun fail my first GP tests. and tests results were demoralising. failed all except the first maths class test. i need to find the motivation to study! and i need help in maths and chem! felt super lost during lectures and tutorials.

went home early and slept. woke up and felt super uncomfortable with the sore throat and high fever. went to see the doctor and it's super expensive! temperature 38.1

the main purpose of visiting the doctor is to get an MC. and it's super expensive! it has been a long time since i fell sick. being sick just suck.

hope i will recover by tml. dun wan to spend my long weekend eating medicine and sleeping. gonna start doing my homework and GPP later.

JC life is seriously draining me. I have many many things to do this weekend =(

1. PI

working on my sixth draft. teachers wan more details but when i add in they either say that it'not creative enough or it has no link with the lessons learnt. And, it is thousands time worse than doing a summary. 500 words is really little to give a detailed PI

2. GPP

due on mon and my group hasn't started. think it will be difficult to find the information. hope everything turns out well. think GPP is not graded for PW

3. homework

have been lagging behind for tutorials and i dont really understand APGP. i am only copying blindly during maths lectures.

4. study for tests

geo, maths and chem retest next week. plate tectonics is difficult! and guess what, i dun even know where each country is on the map, let alone the plate names and landforms found. chem and maths is just disappointing. maybe i am not studying enough. have been failing most of my tests

5. CO and guzheng concert

will be going to SCH for concert later. whole night and evening will be gone.

have been skipping lunch or dinner for a week and diet-ing really suck. i cant think properly or concentrate. and have been sleeping after 12 or 1am during school days cos of PW and tests. =(

really have to find the motivation or force myself to study instead of wasting so much time on the computer. facebook, twitter, blogs and twitter are distractions.

really disappointed with all the test results. i really hope that i wont retain. must start studying for mid years already. and there is only 4 days of exam. h2 geo and h2 econs is both on the same day. GG liao

had napfa yesterday! was lucky cos my knee didnt affect my standing broad jump. i improved by 20 plus cm! i think the technique is to swing ur hands up when u r jumping and try to jump as high as possible? most importantly, u cannot be scared of falling.

Only got 2 As and they are shuttle run and sit up. will retake the other 3 to make it a C or above.

went to BHG and ate macdonals! super sinful and i spilled my large cup of ice lemon tea on the floor. it just flew from my tray to the floor. so sorry to the guy working at macdonalds cos he had to clean up the mess. sorry!

super long day today! 730 to 4pm! was supposed to wake up at 5 pm to complete my geo tutorial and my alarm clock didnt ring!! woke up at 6 and rushed my graded tutorial in 45 minutes. spent a long time thinking what to write. hope my writing make sense.

walked super quickly to the mrt station and i was considered early for tutorial!

slept during assembly cos it's too boring =X only know about the nanyang film festival. the trailer was quite funny! CT was slack cos we were asked one by one our CCA and what service learning we did

was dead during econs tutorial. guess the whole class is dead also. geo lecture was super fast paced. the teacher taught sea floor spreading theory and some continental thing. her accent was quite fake and the only reason as to why i am listening because i am trying to hear how she pronounces her word. plate tectonics is so much different from the secondary school one..

went to J8 to eat at Manhattan fish market. tracy and chevon ordered the scholar's platter and i ate the cream pasta. it came with grilled fish, sotong and tomato. it was quite yummy but a little too ex...

had 3 tests this week! hope i will pass all of them.

went for interact club camp last Saturday and Sunday. played team bonding games, wet games, gave out water at toa payoh and learnt more about service learning. i am going to run for vice president. hope i can get the post. if never get also never mind la..

and i went to my cousin's wedding at expo on sat night! actually i went because of the 10 course meal! there's shark fin, chicken, scallops, cold dish, duck, desert, prawn, fish and many more! the restaurant at expo serves really nice food!

have been rather slack and it has been 2 months since the start of JC! i failed my econs assignment and i think econs is difficult. u have to learn to draw the graphs and know what to write for your essays. For maths test, i got 8/10 for inequalities! 2 marks gone due to carelessness. just be more careful next time.

geo test next week. guess what? 1 chapter of geography = 170 pages of notes. i really dunno how i am going to memorise all of them =(

i need a chem tutor! dun understand chem at all. taught 3 chapters already! maths transformations i also not very sure.

and ran 2.4 for the past few pe sessions to prepare for napfa. just try to aim for an A in 2.4 since i will fail my standing broad jump. the other stations should be ok..

PW sucks big time. The question is so difficult! Amalgamation and alternatives =(

learnt how to fall down and skate. kept holding on to the railings but i stop holding them after an hour or so! didnt fall at all while skating! i think it's because of my super slow skating speed. haha

i havent been studying since last wed! feeling super guilty. last thurs was spent on modular training. fri also! then fri and sat got camp. had muscle ache. spent the rest of sat and sunday sleeping.

GP japan trip interview on thurs..hope chevon,me and si min can get in together. i must start on my hw tml! somemore got lots of lecture tests coming up.

the thing that i hate in the lecture theatre is the very small lecture tables. i have to balance my pencil case, graphic calculator, scientific calculator on my lap and i have to hold the writing materials that i need cos the table is too small. and things keep dropping! have to master the skill asap. if not, i might fail my lecture test. LOL..ok la..i know that this is an excuse.

going to bugis with my mum tml to get a new school bag! finally, i dun have to carry that bulky and big bag of mine =)

23/2/10 is a unlucky day for me

firstly, lessons start at 730! i slept at 12 plus cos i was doing research. i got a shock when i saw the notes uploaded cos it's already midnight and i dun wan to disturb anyone and to wake them up just because of the sound of the printer. switched on the com and printer in my bro room, but there's something wrong with my printer. it prints weird symbols instead of words

Had flu and headache for the whole day. Used 2 packets of tissue. Hope my nose wont drop from sneezing and excessive rubbing with tissue.

break at 830, but i totally forgot abt photocopying the notes.

had chem lecture. immediately after that was geo lecture. The highlight of the day was that i got locked out of the lecture with chevon for 40 min! i was in the LT early. put my bag down and went to photocopy room to photocopy for jiaqi, tracy and for the 2 of us. There was a long queue and we ran back but, we were still locked out. No one opened the door. Chevon knocked on the door but the geo lecturer cum geo tutor cum CT ignored her. Plus, he dun allow anyone to open the door. Tried all the 4 doors but all of them were locked. Sat outside and read the notes. Finally got into the LT after 40 min.

What is wrong with going to photocopy the notes? It's better than not having any notes or not paying attention in class right? We were not even given a chance to explain. So paiseh lor, like the whole LT1 ppl know abt this -.-

Somemore, a lot of ppl from 1036 and other classes asked him whether they can open the door and let chevon and me in. But, he refused? To top it off, he's our geo tutor and CT -.-

Then if u left ur bag in the LT and went to the toilet because you got cramps or diarrhoea, you will still be locked out of the LT cos u were late? THIS IS RIDICULOUS.

We were deprived of a chance to explain and to learn. Missed the whole chapter. I am going to ask every single thing that i dun understand during the next tutorial.

The canteen food is nice but we are really sick of it. It's barely a month! Always go out to AMK hub or J8 if we have breaks. And i now understand why senior qian hui say that you will gain weight in JC. I will eat at every single break. Once i step into the canteen, i have to buy some food =(

So the most that i ate is 4 or 5 meals per day. Seriously need to lose some weight

Tutorials have started and i still dont feel the stress. I can sleep at 10pm everyday and also use the computer everyday. My class also dismiss quite early. The earliest time that we can go off is 330 then latest is 430. Got one day PE is 330-430 -.-

Chemistry is still okay cos it is like the revision of sec 3 and 4 topics. Maths is okay also. And i noe how to use the graphic calculator!

Economics is okay but there's lots of curves to remember. Geography is boring. The notes are long and wordy.

I am probably going to join student council or guitar. Think i cant get into squash. Got a lot of ppl better than me...

CNY celebration today!

Performances at nyjc include lion dance, teachers singing, don't forget the lyrics and chinese orchestra performance. dismissed at 9am!

Exchanged valentines gift in the canteen with 1036. I received sweets, chocolates, biscuits, balloons, flowers, lollipops etc

went back to AMKSS after NYJC CNY celebration. We were early but the performances ended. The secondary school pupils had recess and ve lessons. Walked around the school and the painting in our class didn't change. But class 2/1 became a classroom.

Didn't get my testimonial cos my form teacher is not in school. Sat at foyer with 4/5 peeps and talked to mrs chan. Saw quite a lot of graduates who went back. I ate the cai fan! It is the last plate but it's cold =(

Stayed in school till noon. After that went to amk hub to shop and eat. Me and qian ru ate subway cookie and pepper lunch. After that went to qian ru's house to use laptop and play vball. Reached home at 8.45

Had GP lecture in the morning. Spent the 1 hour watching a video. The teacher was super fierce! Hope my GP lecturer is not her...

GC workshop after that. I now know how to use! Hope i wont forget after a week. The designs on the graphic calculator super nice! Think students got too much time during exams.

Didnt bring my pe shirt today and went back home and back to school again. In the end, we only did the 5 items and some ppl didnt wear their pe attire. Shouldn't have wasted the bus fares and time =(

I think it is a must to get Silver for Napfa. And, i heard that u have to go for some fitness training if u fail 1 station. I am super bad at standing broad jump. Hope i can pass. And, for the inclined pull up, there is no one supporting your feet! Think it is very difficult also.

Not sure if i am going back to AMKSS for CNY celebrations. Think i need to see my timetable and see what time my lessons end.

Orientation ended on tuesday =(

The last highlight of the orientation was the disco night in the hall. It was dark and blasting with music. Everyone was super high and they started dancing.

Had GP lecture on wed. Quite boring. I hope i will be able to pass it. Not sure if i should buy newsweek and times. But, i wont read it cos the articles are long and boring! =(

Had 3 hours break in between and spent it talking and stoning in the canteen. CCA bazaar was next. I want to join squash! It's indoor so i wont get sunburnt. Hope i will get selected during the audition. Second choice tennis and third choice floor ball. If i cant get into sports i will join student council or house exco.

Had maths lecture today. Started on inequalities and curves. It is a bit more difficult than a maths. Safety talk after maths lecture. It was boring!

After break was econs,geo and chem lecture. I slept in all the lecture except chem! Chem lecture was super fast. Taught stoichometry and mole! I cant understand some of them. I took combined science! And i didnt print my notes. So, i was even more blur. Reached home at 2 while the others have lecture/PE.

There was orientation yesterday and today.

First, there were talks by the principal, on the subjects combinations, subjects, scholarships programmes and a lot more! Think it was more than 3 hours! Super bored in the hall =(

After that was lunch in the canteen then mass dance. My dance partner was a 1.9m tall guy -.- there is such a such height difference -.-

Mass dance was followed by orientation games. First one was to stand in a square and we have to give what the student councillors want. Like 10 legs in the box, 1 finger, 2 head etc..and i have to stand on other people's leg

The second game was to arrange ourselves on the bench according to height and hair length. I had to be piggy-backed by the OGL to the extreme end! Sorry, if i was too heavy -.-

Sentosa was the highlight of today. Played a game and we have to say 1 chicken, pluck hair and make the chicken sound. The game is continued by 2 chicken, 2 pluck hair and 2 chicken sounds and it continues. LOL A particular group mate named wei bin was super entertained at the pluck hair thing and she became damn high

Games include scavenger hunt where we have to contribute our items and dance the mass dance, dig for tools to build a sandcastle, water bomb, filling the water with a cup with a partner, finding ping pong balls, pencil and pebbles at a particular area.

In the end, i got sunburnt. I now have super red arms, face,neck and thigh =(

After sentosa went to plaza sing to eat dinner with nova 6 mates and 2 other guys. I spent $12 on food today!

was working for the whole of last week (18 jan to 24 jan). no breaks in between! have to stand for 8 hours in an area which have no air con. it's a tent like thing outside plaza singapura. was really bored and i really dread going to work. glad that the week is over and i got my pay! =)

i sleep at 10pm and wake up at 11am everyday. prepare for work. then back home at 945pm. wash up and sleep. this is how i spend the week =(

food at plaza singapura is so expensive! and i only realised that there is a kopitiam on the second last day.

The animations in the movie was superb! Love the fighting scene and the forest in the avatar war. But, i think that they should make chio and cute avatar instead of large alien like giants with blue skins...The storyline is also very good!

It feels so weird to stay at home sleeping till noon when all the other secondary school students woke up early and prepared for their first day of school in 2010

Results will be released either on next Monday/Tues/wed and it is confirmed. You can go to the SEAB website to check it out. Super worried about my results. I just hope to get into an average/good JC.

And, why do parents like to compare their children with their friend's or relatives' children? Anyway, is money really that important?

I went to read every letter and card that i received and i almost cried after reading them . I kept every single card or letter that i have received in my drawer. haha. And remember the autograph book which u get your friends to write in them? I find them super childish. But, it is still quite nice to read and to reminisce. The diary that i wrote in my primary school days were super funny!

Other entries were all in this blog. started this blog in September 2006 and i am glad to say that i have grown up. Find the things that i write about in the past childish.

My blog is already 4 years and 4 months old! Time really flies. I am a little afraid of what 2010 will bring. I am not good at adapting and i need a longer time to adapt to the surrounding. Hope that I wont have a mental breakdown because of the stress. But, I wanna make it to a good JC. Please, let my O level results be fairly good.

Sometimes, I am envious with others. They have the brains, looks, true friends and supportive parents. I don't think that I have the brains so I have to work harder than other people to achieve the same results. Sometimes, my results are not as good. I am not blaming my parents and I know that I am luckier than many others because I have the basic necessities in life but humans tend to compare right? I really hope that my parents can be more encouraging and stop all the quarrelling. I do not know what to do about this and I will often remain indifferent because I really do not know what I can do to salvage the problem. I think i should really learn how to appreciate all the things and people around me and stop taking them from granted.

I really have to learn to be more independent and not so easily influenced by others. And, most importantly, i should not really care so much about what opinions others have about me. The start of this year is a bad one. Sick on the first day of 2010. =(

We will all be leading different lives in different schools this year. Frankly speaking, I do not like a change in environment. Hope that I can get into the same school as some of my friends. Are results everything? To me, it really is. I will be devastated if my results are horrendous. I dont think that I am suited for poly life. But,if the results did not turn out to be so good, I only have myself to blame.

Working hard in a new school will be my way of compensating. I will not procrastinate. This is quite difficult but it shall be be new year resolution. I MUST do the best that I can. LOL. This sound like a school motto. I am also going to stop being so impulsive.

Hope than 2010 will be a great year for me!

i think that it is true that the older you get, the less important your birthday becomes. A big thanks to those who wished me a happy birthday although you don't know me that well. expected to hear from some people but i didnt received their birthday greeting. what a sad year, no xmas gifts, no birthday presents =(

but never mind i shall be contented. 2009 is coming to an end. it is already new year's eve today! how time flies!

2010 will be very different. change of friends, environment and everything. i just hope that i can still keep in contact with my secondary school friends.

2009 had been a great year although some sad things happen. lost 2 friends because of a insignificant person and incident. never mind, let bygones be bygones. why dwell on unhappy matters and friends who don't appreciate you?

my birthday cake

i ate 3 cakes in a week! first was the Christmas log cake, second was a cake baked by my dad's friend and third was my birthday cake. growing fatter day by day =(

it is my birthday today! finally able to watch NC16 movies! haha

went to work at st nicholas secondary school yesterday and today. earned $122! plus the flyer distribution $50, i will be richer by $172! please don't come and rob me..haha 2 days $122 not bad right

the first day at st nicholas was very slack! i had the time to sleep, use com on phone sms and stuff

but today, the crowd was .... a lot of people and lots of ppl queueing up and filling up the entire classroom. 4 counters also not enough. it's orientation day today. but to be exact, me and kiah yeen only work for 3 hours straight cos the other 4 hours are spent slacking. we can sit down and chat! and we can oso go out to buy lunch. where can u find a nicer boss? anyway the boss is female and she is damn rich! think she got 2 mercedes! one black and one red. i even got a ride from the black mercedes

no work tomorrow! may go out shopping but must find a shopping companion first.

another failed attempt at job interviews. went to the whole of J8 and AMK hub and none of the shop accepted me! i want a job!!! i really tried a lot of ways. online,newspaper,going to shopping centre and ask 1 shop by 1 shop. why cant i get a job??

actually a lot of places hiring, but i think i will be going to a JC, so i cant work till feb. plus they will expect me to work during chinese new year. i should go visit my relatives instead. just say some greeting and you get red packets! easy money!

i am going to look in the newspaper again. maybe will try going to orchard and ask 1 shop by 1 shop. but i am not very familiar with orchard and i think it will take a very long time for me to finish asking all the shops.

and guess what, i called robinson,john little,BHG,isetan and OG but none of them is hiring!!! i bet that everyone is luckier than me. most of you must have started work long ago and u dont even have to spend so much time looking for a job.

went to another interview at golden mile complex..almost got cheated. heng i got back home

the person ask me go the golden mile complex 6th floor. but the 6th floor is like a hotel, with lots of doors and definitely not starhub that he told me

plus i walk for half an hour from lavender mrt station. it is super ulu and filled with thai people and thai shops. that place does not snell really nice either -.-

going to NTUC tml to ask. hope it is successful but i dont wanna wear the NTUC attire. will make me look like auntie...

sorry for the lack of updates for a week!

nothing much is happening. no one to go out with cos wan ting got a job and chongxi is busy with VIP stuff. everyone got a job except for me!

i think i stayed at home for a week already and everyday is the same.
sleep,eat,use com,eat,sleep,eat,watch tv,sleep

i am going to be a big fat pig next year if this continues. think i went for a job interview at raffles place on thurs. The building is super duper tall. like 60 storeys high? and i got a ear block while i am on the lift.

not sure if i can get the job. have to wait till they phone me. another interview at somerset today! i really need the job! i want $ and something to do so that i wont be so bored at home.

and u should not apply online for a job cos u don't get a reply at all. newspaper one sometimes no one pick up or say 16 years old too young -.-

i want to go overseas again!!!

wan ting came to my house to use the computer and also to play the wii. My bro won the wii in a lucky draw! =)

the wii only got a few games. dunno how much a game cost. The games include tennis,baseball,golf,bowling,boxing. And i got a muscle ache after playing boxing -.- apparently, i used too much of my arm's strength.

and new moon can be found online! watched half of the movie and the window closed! have to reload it again =( but i cannot understand what the people in the movie are talking about. i really need the subtitles.. at the bus stop

sang some cheers, played amazing race and barbequed. But, in the middle of the BBQ, it rained and we had to 'rescue' the foods and bag to the shelter. The rain stopped after 10 minutes and we continued our BBQ. BUT, it rang heavily again and we were trapped in the shelter. At last, we decided to make our way home.

went to the macdonalds @ J8 yesterday. i brought my laptop cos wan ting wanted to see the prom pictures. everyone was pretty and handsome that night.

and we tempted qian ru by video chatting with her while wan ting was eating her 2 piece chicken meal. we were eating KfC chicken while qianru is eating her fishball noodle.

and i discovered that what we say can be heard by the other person that we are video chatting with. LOL

Japan trip

The weather at Japan was super cold and it was very comfortable. But, some of the skin of my face are peeling because of the dry weather. It is also dark at around 4pm. I even got sick of eating salmon because there were salmon in every single meal. The weird thing is there is no sushi there, only sashimi and stuff.

I look very fat in almost all the pictures below. I think i put on 2-3 kg. Who wouldnt put on weight if they eat and sleep all day long?And most of the meals are buffet style and i ate a lot. There were also many desserts. I also ate a lot of chocolates samples.

And the toilet bowl in Japan is v.high tech! There is a seat warmer and it also squirts water on your butt after you done your business. Not to mention, Japan is very clean and all the people there very auto one. They are also super polite. They will greet you when you enter/leave the restaurant/shop.

The daiso there is very huge. It has 5 storeys and have everything u need. LOL, i sound like an advertiser. But, the price is not fixed at $2. There are cheaper and also more expensive items.

The stuff in Japan are also quite expensive. $15 for a bowl of ramen with 2 pieces of meat. $15-$20+ for chocolates. I bought a lot of chocolates home.

There was also a factory outlet in hokkaido. Bought 1 adidias jacket, 2 adidas sports shoe and 1 levis jeans. Think i got to go work to return my parents the $

Another unique experience was the hot spring. All of them are in the hotel and the temperature of the water is between 40 to 42 degrees. And, no clothes are allowed in the hot spring. You are to go in completely naked and bathe in a cubicle with no doors. The guys and girls are also separated. There is also a sauna and jacuzzi there. Quite shiok.

Missed prom because of this trip but i guess it was quite worth it ba. Saw snow for the first time and ate a lot of japanese food.

Hokkaido is really very fun and the scenery is superb. The food also! Got to go excercise everyday in order to lose some weight.

Finally done with this long entry. Waited for quite a long time because the uploading of photos took very long.

I am having muscle aches,gastric and a skin allergy now. And, i have to be on the plane to Japan in 12 hours. I hope i will be fine by afternoon. I dun want to be sick in Japan!

anyway this is a pic of me bowling. thanks to senior edna for sending me this. i got a strike and spare! LOL, but i also scored 4 zeroes out of 20 tries

anyway i went home and viewed the videos for the farewell party for mrs koh and also the farewell party 2008 and 2009 for Red Cross Youth. I was overwhelmed by sadness and i almost cried. Seeing your juniors taking over and leading the units to greater heights is really heartwarming

I also went to look at my kindergarden, pri sch and sec 1 photos. And I think that my face looks almost the same throughout the 10 years. LOL, it seems quite scary.

2010 will be a new beginning and i will have to make friends all over again and also to join a new CCA.

Back from Red Cross Annual Camp! It was a different feeling cos i was back as a senior. I feel really old although i am still 15. One more month to my birthday!

Highlight of the camp was probably the heritage trail, night trail, interview, outdoor cooking, bowling and bunk inspection

Went to the Singapore Flyer for the first time. Took bus 171 from dhoby ghaut MRT and i was shocked cos the last stop was by the roadside. Walked to the Singapore Flyer and I went to the F1 race track. It just look like an ordinary road without the race cars. The tickets for the Singapore Flyer ride was super expensive. I think it is around $29 for 30 min. 1 minute costs $1!

Was sunburnt and my face is like very red. I hope i don't look like a tomato in Japan.

Bowling was fun at the beginning but it got boring towards the end. I got a strike and a spare although it was my second time bowling. Guess i was lucky =)

Will be away from Singapore from 20-27 nov. I want to go for prom! But i can't cos i will be in Japan. I will be looking forward to the sushi, crabs and the snow! =)

freedom doesn't feel that great after all. had been stuck at home since thurs(exlcuding ytd cos i went to J8 with my family). i packed my cupboard and wardrobe! =) but this is much better than facing books all day long.

i am glad that i didnt spend any $ but i also dun have a lot of $ to spend. spent quite a lot on blogshops. going to work in dec. any lobangs?

i am suddenly afraid of the results that i will receive next year. i really hope that i can get into a good JC. i hope that my last minute hard work will pay off. actually, i still spent quite a lot of time slacking during the exams. but now, i can play without feeling guilty.

anyone signed up for NP's red camp? not sure if i should attend the red cross annual camp or that.

anyway there are lots of movies to watch online. examples include harry potter,jennifers body,2012,my sister's keeper and many more.

and if you are a fan of taiwan 偶像剧, dun miss 海派甜心，桃花小妹 and 下一站，幸福. they are all v.nice!

i desperately need to lose some weight. have been putting up a few kg because of the exam. have been sitting down and eating for the past 1 month or 2 months. shall go running/swimming/cycling later.

4 years of secondary school pass just like that

i still remember my secondary 1 days. the orientation and everything. and making friends from the start cos i dun really have a lot of primary school friends going to the same secondary school with me. but i have gone through all that.

and i really miss 1/1 06 and 2/1 07!

after being streamed into different classes in sec 3, some of our friendships changed and we were not as close as before. but, we also made new friends.

sec 3 is quite a stressful year for me. new cca responsibilities, new classmates, new teachers ans everything. and i have to adapt to everything. took quite a long time for me to adapt and i almost had a mental breakdown. thanks to all those who stood by my side trying to cheer me up. thanks for the drawings and letters you all gave me. i really appreciate all of them. i am glad that it is all over.

sec 4, is the year where we spend almost all our time mugging. something also happened this year and i lost 2 friends as a result. perhaps, it is my fault although i dont really know where the problem lies. 7 months had passed since that incident. but i don't think that things can revert back to normal. i also learnt a lesson and know who my true friends really are.true friends wont abandon you because they had heard some rumours. Moreover, they will be able to tolerate your temper and flaws. i really dunno why things changed after all that. perhaps, it's my fault.

in that 7 months, i became a loner, having no friends in class and no one to turn to. i kept to myself, fearing that my words will cause another incident that will cause a lot of unhappiness. thanks to wan ting, qian ru, fion, lao jas,tim jee, kiah yeen and chongxi for talking to me and everything else that u have done.

i became more wary of my words and actions cause i am really afraid that i will lose more friends.

i really hope that someone can tell me the real reason that sparked off that incident. perhaps, i shouldnt think about it at all cos things will not change. reverting back to normal would be impossible i guess.

what has passed are already history isnt it? i shouldnt let all this affect me anymore. 7 months is enough.

wow, just realised that i didnt blog for a month!

finally, done with all the english and maths papers. no more maths! hope that i can get an A1 for e maths and a B3 for a maths.

NIGHTMARE

Got chased by Malay boy, and this is the first time that someone is following me. Saw him walking around my neighbourhood for quite some time already. And the thing that i cannot figure out is his age. He had been wearing the SAME uniform( white shirt and light blue pants) since i was in primary school. And I think he is trying to create a fashion style? He wore high waist pants! -.-

Being chased by a male is already scary enough. To top it off, there is no one near me and that guy is not normal.

You may think it is funny BUT if you are the one experiencing it, you will not find it funny at all. I have no idea why i felt so afraid at the moment and the only thing i could do is to run. Perhaps of the adrenaline rush? But the lucky thing was i ran fast enough and was at a crowded place in less than 3 minutes. Thank goodness man, if not i wont be even blogging here.

Not v.sure if i am suspicious or something, but i really sensed something's amiss this morning. Perhaps it is sixth sense?

Thinking of it now, it seems very cowardly. Running away is the most sensible thing to do cos it is an instinctive response and the best response especially if you have no weapon or dunno any self defense.

i shouldnt be using my laptop when o lvl is 34 days away. should be concentrating on my studies. why cant i see the results when i put in the effort? perhaps, i didnt work hard enough. or perhaps, i am just dumb =(

today was quite an unlucky day for me

mdm anantha was not here today. have to wait 7 more days for ss paper. i am anxious about my results! spent the 2 periods doing e maths and bio.

prelim just ended but we were given a lot of papers to do just because we have an extra day of 'holiday'. 3 days is called a long weekend?

English was quite boring today. doing grammar and compre for 2 periods.

didnt see much today and did quite a lot of exercise by climbing stairs. first to fourth to third to first blabla..u get what i mean

bio took back mcq. missed an A1 just because i changed 1 of my answer. hope my paper 2 wont pull down my marks...

geo was spent day dreaming and doing the geo elective questions. was released late and it was pouring! lol and mrs ****** said WTH. but could understand cos she needs to raise her voice because of the rain and loud conversations made by some of us

i passed by 5 smokers and people who were burning something cos it's the end of 7th month. tried holding my breath but i still think i inhaled lots of second hand smoke. hate smokers. if they want to smoke, they should do it in an enclosed room so that they can breathe in more smoke that they exhaled and from other smokers. one guy was puffing out his smoke on purpose at me. dont understand what is so nice about smoking. it damages your health and makes u look like a freak. yellow teeth,smelly breath,smelly odour and everything.

i think the rain has something against me. it will always rain when i dont bring an umbrella. every time i bring then nvr rain. ended up getting drenched and scolded by my mum

i am so sick of the threatenings.

i really think that i should have some self control and refrain from using the computer until the end of o levels. easier said than done though =(

restaurant city..level 15 going 16 in perhaps a few minutes. i dunno why i am addicted to it. the game is rather boring but i just want to level up. this sounds contradicting...

hate science practical to the max.

was almost late and arrived at 7.35 in the AVA room. they said that we cant talk along the way to the lab but seriously, who will keep their mouth shut throughout?

physics was ok and i think we did it before. but for the questions not that sure though.

chem was difficult! there were many tests to conduct and imagine being inside the lab for an hour without fan, switching on the bunsen burner, conducting experiments, wearing goggles. some more all the windows in the lab were closed! curtains drawn too. super hot. hope it will rain on the day of o level science practical. cos the heat it seriously unbearable. but i released toxic from the body cos lots of sweat were produced -.-

and i got one of the salt wrong. second salt i only wrote copper, so not sure correct or not. and i think i touch a lot of chemicals today. lucky my hand never corrode...my concentration is also wrong...most people got 1+ but i got 2.32

and the frustrating thing is that my lighter didn't work. raised my hand and waited for like 5 minutes before mrs annand passed me 1. then after that maybelline's lighter spoil. 2 also cant use. she borrowed mine and we ended up sharing.

next thing is glass rod missing. asked mrs yeo to pass 1 to me and she cant hear me. repeated for 3 times. am i that soft? perhaps i am right at the back of the laboratory..

then waited in library for 4 hours. didnt go to the toilet cos i am afraid to ask and dun like ppl escorting me.. like criminal. mas selamat..LOL

it wasnt a very smooth one. made some mistakes but i am glad it is over. PRELIMS ARE OFFICIALLY OVER!

o levels is in ** days. haha you should know it yourself. i will not ruin your mood. but i posted it ---> (twitter) and also facebook. this serves as a reminder for all of us! FIGHTING! but i am not going to touch my books today. i sound like i am contradicting myself -.-

p/s dun try taking a long nap in the afternoon. i took a 3 hours nap and i suffered insomnia. laid on bed for 3 hours before i fell asleep at 2.30am. slept for 4 hours only.

had a 3 hours nap and i doubt i will fall asleep tonight. haven even start revising cos i dun really know how to revise for practical. hope i wont see the numbers or colours wrongly tomorrow!

stayed till for 8 hours. till about 600. i only studied physics for 1 or 2 hours. the rest of the time was spent walking to the toilet, blowing my nose and re-reading twilight. and i am done with reading in half a day!

i am going to the library again tml. it's freezing inside even though i wore my jacket. hope i won't have flu again tml

will most probably bring my laptop to charge.

but the holiday will be spent on mugging for prelims =(

ss paper seq part was ok..i studied for that 3 chapters and it came out! but my SBQ is v.badly done. i dun understand the picture at all..

lots of questions dunno how to do for e maths paper 2..paper 1 quite ok.

english paper 1 and 2 ok..just that i am afraid my compo on happiness is out of point. and there is no points for summary! i got got like 10?

higher chinese paper 1 was okay..but paper 2 compre question quite difficult..those chim and philosophy kind..

pure geog paper 1 should be ok..

a maths paper 2 quite difficult. cos 30marks i dunno how to do. hope i can pass

bio..actually it is quite an easy paper. but i didnt study for reproduction in plants and it came out as an 8m essay question. and i crapped for that question.

i think this is my worst exam ever. just dont have that sense of urgency to study. i hope the results wont be too bad. must tart studying now to prevent the same thing from happening in O levels. not really confident in any papers.

warning! this will be a long ranting post so i suggest that u dont read

220809 is really a unclucky day for me. and it is the third day of hungry ghost festival. 3 is supposed to be my lucky number. contradicting right?

1. sick. down with stomache, diahorrea,sore throat. and i heeded my dad's advice to put salt on my ulcer. and guess what, it was super painful and it even swelled!
2.mum scolded me cos i spent the day using computer and sleeping (cos weather too hot)
3.the hot weather prevented me from studying (maybe this is an excuse)
4.i ant go to the flea market at SMU cos i had no $ and i dunno how to get there
5.i only have $10 allowance for this week and i didnt get to save any $.
6.i still owe my brother $20. i am so broke!
7.mum quarelled with the new unreasonable neighbour
8.mum called her friend to complain. and her voice very loud. so cant sleep nor study
9.dad asked me to wake up and ask me to find the 7 key pictures from everyday.
10.quite unwilling to and got scolded by him

straits times had a competition that requires us to search the straits times,classifed,life,home,mind ur body to look for the key that will be published everyday from august 15-22

my dad asked me to search after he had gone out and called to tell me that it can appear anywhere. i have to lug all the newspaper from the storeroom to the living room. and in the process of flipping the newspaper, i dirtied my hand and it was all black. searched through page by page, cut out the 7 keys one by one, paste it and wrote the particulars even when my dad called again and asked me not to find cos i cant stand doing things halfway.

later i told him i found everything and he said that he will need to see if got time to go to raffles place park to put the coupon and he sms-ed me and said: too bad, no time

i was really indignant and fuming lor. i find,cut and paste and got scolded him by nothing. somemore i still wasted almost an hour or more. i even suggested to go to raffles place park but i only had half an hour left and i doubt i will be in time. so, i am here to vent my fustration.

ok the next story is about the unreasonable neighbour. my former neighbour moved out last sunday and i think the new occupant came today to view the house. one old uncle pressed the doorbell and my mum answered. i think he is the father of the occupant. he asked her to move all the plants away as we are occupying his area. my mum put the potted plants there for many years already but no one had complained.

he even claimed that that is HIS area. and hello, the plants are at the corridor. and u are not even living there. the $ he forked out is just for his house and i dont think he bought the whole corridor. he even asked the other neighbour to move her clothes hanger away. and my mum rebutted him in a loud volume and both of them ended up quarrelling. he even said that if we dont move the plants, he will THROW IT AWAY. then my mum said that she will ask the police or town council to come and ask if that area is his. and they ended up quarrelling. his son asked him to go back to his house and my mum still stood at the door shouting at him. his son asked my mum to diam and go back into the house. my mum, being indignant said that it is her right to either stand at the door or go back into the house.

he is so disrespectful. one is a complain king and the other is so disrespectful. i think that there might be more troubles arising. we didnt have any problems with the other neighbours. but i think my mum shouldnt shout at him which sparked off the dispute. she should have just said 'ok'.

studying today wasnt that productive. and i hope my luck will improve after today

first day of hungry ghost festival.

chem practical was ok. i was lucky that i didnt spill any chemicals onto my clothes. cos it cannot be washed off and the colours look like some kind of stain. LOL

i waited in school for three hours today! just to wait for lao jas to have pizza hut with me. the sad thing is that we didn't get to eat the student meal in pizza hut. and i keep mixing up pizza hut and KFC and affected fion oso..haha

did my homework from 1.45-3.30. and i spent around 10 to 15 minutes to sweep my classroom and arrange the tables and chairs. i think i am crazy cos i am not even on duty.

after that was discussing with qian ru oral. then germaine came, discussed,then kerine,jun cheng, wan ting, lao jas and yixuan.

in the end, only me, lao jas and yx went to j8's pizza hut.

met miss clara lim at bus stop and lao jas and yx seems to be good friends with her and chatted with her. they just started talking cos miss lim was the timekeeper. she had to repeat ''10 minutes up'' for 12 times. how boring is that...

the embarrassing thing is that we didnt realise that the student meal is only available till 5pm and we reached at 5.10
we couldnt order the students meal and lao jas and yx even begged them. but it didnt succeed.

and guess what we did? we just walked off quickly with our bags after we sat down at the table with the menu in front of us. damn embarrassing lo..but it is partially their fault cos no more student meal ma. hope they dont recognise me..if not i next time go there eat very paiseh.

went to eat KFC and the person who passed me the cheesy BBQ meltz look super scary. he looked like i owe him 100 million...

talked with lao jas and yx for around 1 hour plus and our talk was disrupted cos we saw 3 guys walking around with no seats to sit. we did not continue hogging the seats and gave it up! haha

walked around converse, 77th street, hp shops and many more.

bus-ed home and the bus super crowded. had to stand near the door area. saw karen and zeng jie at the stop that i alighted.

there was lots of smoke and ashes on my way back home. i hope people can use the bin provided to burn the papers and not on the grass or on the ground.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MISS CHIN!

twitter isnt working so i am here to blog! =)

the highlight of the day is O LEVEL ENGLISH ORAL! i think i was quite lucky as mine is held in library and i get to wait INSIDE the library and enjoy the air con! there are bad things also as we have to keep quiet as the examiners and us are in an enclosed room but we cant hear the topic cos we are like at 2 extreme ends of the library.

i was the last one and i think i waited for around 2 and a half hour before it was my turn. got one ang moh guy and one chinese guy. i think quite good already la. cos i heard the the previosu 2 days of oral exam held in the library had 2 ang moh

the chinese guy tested me for picture discussion and the ang moh tested me for conversation.

for those curious about the topics tested, here it is

i think this is my first time having 5 different questions for conversation. moreover, the ang moh's accent quite strong and the speed quite fast. caught most of the questions but i was not v.sure about 1 question. the picture nothing much to talk about also

anyway congrats to those who scored an A1 for their O LEVEL CHINESE! =)

i hope that i can do well for my oral cos my paper 1 and 2 not that good.

i also ate donuts from donut factory today! first time eating them. ok..dun say that i am sua ku -.-
quite nice! haha

and jun wen was persuading people to give her cadbury( not sure of spelling) boost cos she scored an A1 for her chinese. haha

anyway tml is the first day of hungry ghost festival! hope nothing bad will happen.

i can predict that there will be a lot of ashes flying around. lol
